Tudor-style row houses typical of Foxhall Village. Just past Georgetown but before you get to Palisades, you'll find the Foxhall neighborhood. Foxhall is bordered to the east by Glover-Archbold Park, to the west by Canal Road, to the north by Reservoir Road, and to the south by the intersection of MacArthur Blvd., Foxhall Road and 44th Street. When most Washingtonians think of Foxhall, they think of Foxhall Village, a neighborhood tucked between Foxhall Road and Glover-Archbold Park. Primarily developed in the 1920s & 1930s, most Foxhall Village homes have a distinctive European flavor all their own. These Tudor-style row houses boast stucco and brick facades, with no two appearing to be identical. This neighborhood, however, also includes a few brick townhomes that were constructed in the late 1980s. Foxhall's location provides easy access to downtown DC (via the Whitehurst Freeway), Virginia (via nearby Key Bridge) and Maryland (via Canal Road).
